How should I clean TREX decking?
To remove dirt and debris, simply spray your TREX decking with a hose. Use warm, soapy water and a soft bristle brush for detailed cleaning.
Can I use a power washer to clean TREX decking?
For stubborn dirt or mud, a pressure washer with fan attachment may be used, with no greater than 3100 psi. Spray each composite deck board using the fan tip, held at least 8 inches from the surface. Be sure to rinse thoroughly to avoid leaving a film on the decking surface.
How often should I clean TREX decking?
Frequency of cleaning depends on the environment and exposure to the elements, but cleaning should be done at least every 6 to 9 months. This keeps your deck looking sharp and meets manufacturer requirements for the Limited Warranty
