Perfect for securing PVC tongue-and-groove (T&G) boards to wall studs or ceiling joists, the VZClip ensures a tight, secure fit even in extreme conditions. Testing has shown that VERSATEX trimboards installed with VZClips can withstand wind loads over 125 mph—surpassing the equivalent of a Category 3 hurricane.
This innovative system speeds up installation time, eliminates the need for visible fasteners, and preserves the smooth, unblemished appearance of PVC or film-laminated trimboards. Unlike traditional T&G methods, which require nailing through the board, the VZClip delivers superior holding power, making it ideal for coastal environments and high-wind areas.
Easy to use, VERSATEX recommends placing VZClips every 16 inches on center with #8 1-5/8-inch galvanized or stainless-steel screws. A single package of VZClips (screws not included) covers approximately 180 square feet, or 21 boards at 18 feet each.
