Like the SMART HUB-150, the wireless SMART MOVE can be operated with the in-lite app using a Bluetooth connection. Once movement is detected, the light can be set variably to stay on from 1 to 60 minutes using the in-lite app.
The wireless SMART MOVE motion detector is normally installed flat against a wall or fence but, thanks to the wireless Bluetooth connection, the SMART MOVE can be installed anywhere in the yard (tree). The wireless connection generates an exceptionally large reach, making it possible to easily install the wireless SMART MOVE in even the largest of yards.
The functioning of the motion detector does, however, depend on the distance from the SMART HUB-150 transformer and environmental factors. The connection strength, for instance, is reduced if the signal has to travel through thick steel-reinforced outside walls.
